I would love to meet in VR but having 3 small kids, scheduling time is next to impossible. I think that the key here is customization. Its good that you have library of things but developing an option where user can load  models  is very appealing. I would look into ways supporting well accepted file format, say step or iges. This way it not only allows for personalized spaces but also allows  3D drawings to be discussed in VR with your multiplayer option.

Another thing is interactive modules. Buttons, panels, levers, portals mapped to device apps. Browser integration. Portals to friend's homes.  Imagine a door, you knock on it or ring a bell, your friend hears it if he is online and opens a door at hes end, then you walk in and you are at friends place :) Sure its more simple to have a panel with friends name list, click on it and you are in, but where's the fun in that, where's immersion?
There is so much people with skill can do but all we see is 2D buttons and icons, same old style interaction in VR like quest home we have for 30 years.

Basically, work out the plan, the bareboanes, then attach modules to it like games etc.

I would add on this topic. It looks like you are jumping a lot on different aspects of the app, adding more stuff. Home mapper, games, now multiplayer. I would suggest doing  this in stages. As it is home mapper i would suggest spending no time on additional functionality and concentrate on one, home mapper. Then when it is ironed out jump on next task. I don't know if you are working on this alone but its a big project

I find quest Very limited in terms of personalisation. Probably its limited by the memory. I am mostly talking about home environments. Although we have VR, the home experience is very  2D.

Imagine you can map your room, apartment or a house like in your app, include furniture or other objects you can download or create yourself in CAD, instead of menu you have a portal/doorway to the installed game, TV mapped with Netflix or similar app, e.g. google maps projected on your table(like in that awkward home mapping solution), which displays location of your friends with their VR homes you can visit and play some simple games.

Anyway, the direction is very good and i will certainly enjoy your creation.

Keep up the good work you do!

I can confirm that it works on Q1 FW V27.0.0.42

I cant do it on Q2 V28. Will test Q1 later today

I was wandering what is the future of this app? Where is it heading? I was looking for something to map my home and add interactive elements to it and its possible but its just plain pain in the ass.

With custom home mapper mapping walls and objects is simple but as far as i can tell it ends here with some simple games on top. Its early, i know but whats the future? Will it be possible to add assets to the scene like chairs, sofas, beds, perhaps stairs? Will there be interactive objects like placing interactive map, TV/video player, a console like you have which would launch standard quest games etc.

I have played with Spatial and imported objects, objects i designed with Inventor and sell in my shop for people to look at in VR. Still its basic, no way to manipulate with object placement etc.

I am getting this app to support your work, i think its great and i am totally surprised no one else that i know of is doing this type of app.
